Bourrasque
€ 200
The Indian flower known as night-blooming jasmine creates connections between the flowery, spicy, and fresh scents in this sensory maelstrom.
A velvety bloom of apricot is carried by a ...flutter of fresh and spicy spices and a flash of citrus. Patchouli, cistus, and oakmoss unfold in a whirlwind of foliage and forest. In 1937–1938, Paul Vacher wrote Bourrasque for the first time. The fragrance was later reimagined by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, who kept in mind that it had been marketed as “strong, strong, strong” at first. By working with wood and spices, he added a level of modernism that was as startling as it was during its peak, drawing inspiration from the most iconic Chypre fragrances of the 20th century.
