Precious Oud is a tribute to this mythical essence by Amandine Clerc-Marie. The eagle tree (aquilaria), which ...grows in Asia and India, only develops its intense oud character when it is “infected” by a special fungus; only then does this tree produce the dark, highly fermented resin that magically exudes balsamic, earthy and leathery nuances – similar to frankincense and myrrh. Oud, or agarwood (eaglewood), is very rare, very precious. Precious Oud is a reinterpretation of oud essence combined with floral elements.
